Pest Control in Winter Garden Florida, Clermont, and Surrounding Areas.

Yes, some pests are what we call “special”, as in especially hard to eliminate! When these pests become an infestation, call a professional. Due to the nature of these pests, an infestation often requires a different plan of attack. We offer a variety of solutions and methods for these hard to eliminate pests.

German Roaches

Cockroaches are primarily nocturnal. Daytime sightings may indicate potentially heavy infestations. They tend to hid in cracks and crevices and can move freely from room to room or adjoining housing units via wall spaces, plumbing and other utility installations.

Entry into homes is often accomplished through food and beverage boxes, grocery sacks, animal food, and household goods carried into the home.

Bed Bugs

Bed bugs are small, flat, parasitic insects that feed solely on the blood of people and animals while they sleep.

Bed bug infestations usually occur around or near areas where people sleep. These areas include homes, apartments, hotels, cruise ships, buses, trains, etc. They hide during the day in places such as seams of mattresses, box springs, bed frames, headboards, box springs, bed frames, headboards, dresser tables, inside cracks or crevices, behind wallpaper, or any other clutter or objects around a bed.

Fleas

Fleas can be disease vectors and carry murine typhus and bubonic plague. In addition, fleas serve as intermediate hosts for some species of dog and rodent tapeworms that occasionally infest people. They also may act as intermediate hosts as filarial worms (heartworms) in dogs.

First, you must put your pet on a flea control program. If he is, it must not be working. Ask you vet what she recommends. We cannot treat your home for fleas until your pets have been treated.

Wasps &
Bees

Unfortunately, bees and wasps can be a threat to human health. Each year, 50 to 100 people die from bee and wasp stings. Most die from an allergic reaction to venom within one hour of the sting. About 1 percent of the population is allergic to bee and wasp venom.

The most important element of wasp and bee control is to destroy the nest.
We can knock down bee/wasps nest and treat the areas with small amounts of pesticides.

Snakes

Some snakes are good for your yard. They eat the bugs that live there. Some snakes are venomous and should be removed. All snakes can be bothersome, especially, when they get into your garage or home.

We can remove snakes for a fee depending on type of snake and size. Call us today!

If you think rodents are only creatures of urban areas and big cities, think again. Three things we know about rodents: 1) Rodents love Florida, 2) Rodents love fruit trees 3) Rodents WILL find the home with the smallest gaps and nest in your attic.

We figure out how they are getting in, we seal the gaps/holes/areas of entry and we trap the ones that are left in your attic, garage, kitchen, place of business, rooftop or anywhere else.

Armadillos

Armadillos are a wildlife pest that can be tricky to spot and even trickier to get rid of.  The armadillo usually digs a burrow for shelter and raising young. Burrows are located in rock piles, around stumps, brush piles, or terraces around brush.

Burrowing activity can uproot flowers and other ornamental plants. Damage can be caused by their burrowing under foundations, driveways, and other structures.

Carpenter Ants

Carpenter ants get their name from their nest building, where they will excavate the wood and form smooth tunnels inside of the wood. Carpenter ants do not eat wood, they only tunnel and chew through wood to create nests.

Carpenter ants have powerful jaws and their bites can be painful. They may also inject formic acid into the bite wound, creating a burning sensation. However, this pain will subside and does not pose a significant health threat.
