I have already touched on some of these steps but now it’s time to really go deep. Once you come into the kitchen and find those droppings, or you open a cabinet for a box of cereal and find those critters, it is time for drastic action.

True ant control treatment plans should include killing the entire colony, which one can usually only achieve by incorporating ant baiting techniques. Just spraying ants with a typical ant spray, will only kill a few, at best, and scatter the colony, making it more difficult to eliminate and thereby prolongs the process.  Baiting is the only option that truly gets to the nest and roots out the entire colony.  

It is hard to tell if you have a bed bug bite unless you find bed bugs or signs of infestation. When bed bugs bite, they inject an anesthetic and an anticoagulant that prevents a person from realizing they are being bitten. Most people do not realize they have been bitten until bite marks appear anywhere from one to several days after the initial bite. The bite marks are similar to that of a mosquito or a flea — a slightly swollen and red area that may itch and be irritating.

Florida is home to all kinds of pests, including rats, mice, and at least 12,500 insect species (including various termites!). Pandemic, or no pandemic, these pests continue to be a nuisance. Follow the tips below when using pest control services in a post-COVID world.
